Hypersyllogistic Forums: Almost done with college - Hypersyllogistic Forums
Four years of effort at George Washington University are about to pay off: I will be graduating from college next month, with a major in political science and a minor in journalism. I eagerly anticipate heading off into the world (or going a few blocks from where I am now) to apply what I've read in books, heard in lectures, and discussed in papers. The recent political dislocations shall certainly make working in the nation's capital exciting!
I don't want to work in Washington, D.C., forever, though. Spending too much time inside the Beltway, immersed in government groupthink, disconnects one from the America of most citizens. After learning the political ropes in D.C. for a few years, I hope to venture into the "real world" to see what it's like from an adult perspective. And then, eventually, I could return to D.C. as a Member of Congress, able to serve my country more effectively for not having stayed in D.C. my whole adult life. But, before all that happens, I must ensure my graduation actually takes place, so see you! 0 Comments On This EntryNow Reading Cult of the Presidencyby Gene Healy Personality TypeYou are a Judge!(Dominant Introverted Concrete Thinker)
You are a JUDGE (DICT). Your affinity for facts and analytical approach to life help you solve complex problems and make tough decisions that others cannot. But don't think that you don't act irrationally a lot of the time. You jump into arguments and hold grudges like crazy. You could probably use some love. While some may see you as a bit overbearing and arrogant, your friends know that you are a trustworthy person with depth and a strong sense of righteousness. Although you are introverted and somewhat reserved, you have a forceful personality that your friends appreciate and your enemies fear. God help them.
