Why do you bother applauding Albert Mohler's criticism of Ann Coulter's "faggot" remark when you criticized Mohler's plan to genetically erradicate gay people just yesterday? I'd be more interested if Coulter slammed Mohler.
Mohler writes: The issues are far too serious to be treated in this manner, and the very convictions Ann Coulter often defends are now sullied by association with her. At this point, Mohler's position is, "Lets Eliminate gay people, but, for goodness sake, lets be civil about it!" You can practically smell his fear. Coulter's slurs only get in the way of his rabidly homophobic master plot. Mohler's sticks and stones may genetically mutate my bones, but Coulter's names will never hurt me.Mohler, again: How can homosexuals think anything but the worst of a movement that would laugh at the use of this slur? How can homosexuals think anything but the worst of Southern Baptists when he thinks they shouldn't exist?BTW, why the heck would Mohler mark his territory so early? If he wants to eliminate gay people from the face of the planet (and thereby be the hero to Tim Hardaways everywhere) you'd think he'd keep it close to his chest. Finally, Mohler states: I oppose John Edwards' political platform, but not John Edwards the man, husband, and father. I do not want to see him elected President of the United States, but this has everything to do with his political positions, not his personal life. Of course Mohler doesn't oppose "John Edwards the man." Edwards isn't gay.
