Related to my review of Firefly, I thought I'd ask how many users here are planning on seeing Serenity, the movie spawned from Firefly. After you vote, explain why or why not.

I'm voting yes, for all the reasons in my review. ;) Also, advance word-of-mouth on the film indicates it's awesome.

I can't wait to see Serenity. We need a new space adventure. Firefly was one of the best sience fiction programs on T.V. I like the real people characters. It always had a plot that kept you on edge. Joss Whedon is a genius.

Serenity is one of the few movies that I plan on seeing. I can't wait.

The media hasn't been circumspect about spoiling some aspects of the movie, so if you want to avoid plot hints, I'd suggest avoiding all interviews and features about Serenity until after you see it.

I need to see some GOOD space opera to get the "rubbery, gray, spoiled turkey sandwich from a gas station"-taste of REVENGE OF THE SITH out of my mouth...

Can't wait, and I hope I can find the time to see it.
