That's a nice drawing of Captain Malcolm Reynolds, Cymro.

Another desktop. I like the second NYC shot. Good downward perspective on the Flatiron building on the lower right hand side (aka the Daily Bugle building from the Spidey films) And to this day, 5 years later, I still can't look at downtown (caught in the upper right hand corner of your shot) and not think for a millisecond "WTF, where are the towers"? #13
Posted 16 September 2006 - 11:35 PM ![]() Think for yourself. Question authority. Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos; it has been the authorities- the political, the religious, the educational authorities- who attempt to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations. Informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself. Think for yourself. Question authority. #14

Another month, another desktop... This one's a picture of the Potomac I shot when I arrived back at university in Washington, D.C.

I wish I had had the pleasure of visiting New York City before 9/11. I'm sure the Twin Towers would have constituted an amazing sight... and observation platform. ![]() "People should not be afraid of their governments. My current desktop is a photograph of Georgetown I took from atop the Kennedy Center.
I am also using the new Zune theme from Microsoft. ![]() "People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people." -V for Vendetta "Don't tell me what I can't do!" -John Locke, Lost Visit me on the web: Hypersyllogistic | Flickr | Twitter ![]() #16

I bought one of the new MacBook Pro laptops recently, and I'm loving it. I'm coming to prefer the Mac OS to Windows.
Here's the desktop I'm now using on the Mac: It's one I've used before, but it's one of my favorite shots. ![]() "People should not be afraid of their governments.
