I have started playing The Godfather. This game owns. It has pretty much the same engine for vehicle travel and stealing as Grand Theft auto...and it has an arrary of guns weapons and skills to build. Unlike other cheesey remakes this game was licensed by Paramount the company that made the Godfather Trilogy movies. They used actual characters and thier actual voices some taken from the movie but they actually got like Robert Duvall and others i think even Brando to do some new voice overs.

The game centers aorund going on several story plot missions, as well as just general running around killing people and blowing up businesses cars and houses. While you climb the ranks in the Corleone family you also eventually end up becomming the Don of the family. In order to win you need to extort money from over a possible of 200 buisnesses you need totake over ilegal crim rackets in over 5 city districts of NY from Hells kitchin to midtown to the bronx to little ltaly. You have to seize all the warehouses i nthe city even those protected and owned by rival fmailies. And lastly you have to storm the 4 rival families compounds by crashing your way through a baracade of cars and people with submachine guns and fire bombs fight your way through thier houses killing everyone. I have never died so many times and started over luckily the save engine is awesome and doesnt make it too easy to continue just allows you to start over from a mission start point or save your game after a mission.

You can get lost just travleing the city killing rival family members and thier people. You get chased by the cops and the FBI it tracks all your crimes and actions and you can even buy them off to avoid punishment or to look the other way while you rob banks or simply just have a bloody shoot out on the street. I highly recomend you get this game i bought it for only 30$ and it just owns. Anyone else play... i htink Demmy does? The only complaint i have like most games now a days they are gender biased and you cant make a girl mobster i just find that lame but eh whatever...
