Be there or be square...Brent Spiner will be at the Novi show this weekend.
I have a few things I will be getting signed. I will also make it clear that is "prequel STXI: Wonder years" is just as stupid as it sounds.
I will also try and get out of him what the idea was for after Nemesis.

Brent Spiner has nothing to do with the next Star Trek movie, so I wonder what purpose that would serve.

I know he has nothing to do with the decision of the movie. However fans should make it clear anyway possible.
I see you don't watch Boston Legal.

I think the best way to do it is to bite Brent Spiner's ankles off.

I guess that was some sort of British humor.

No, I think it'd be one of the best ways of sending paramount a clear message about how you feel. If you're precise enough you could even hold his ankles at ransom until the studio promises to abort the film. I think it's a winning plan.

I didn't realize how lame British humor is.
I guess it is something you have to be exposed to since birth.

Could you stop with the personal insults please?

It wasn't.
But since we are asking, could you lose the chip on your shoulder against me? Try and move on from Trekweb.

And could you stop bringing fights from Trekweb here?
And could you perhaps explain to my why you think my ankles idea is a joke? I think it's a very effective way of sending your message to Paramount.

Clear to WHOM?
Spiner's last stand with Trek was ST:E, and he was only a hired hand, not a Paramount exec, last time I checked. Instead of bothering him, perhaps you should shout it at a passing garbage truck or during a randomly chosen phone call, as it would be just as effective. Maybe you have some ST action figures you could complain to, or even a pop-up story book. A "Tommy Tippy" cup, perhaps?

Biting his ankles off and holding them to ransom, would be far more effective.

No, it's certainly a better way of attaining your ultimate goal than the course of action you're considering, and Brent Spiner will ultimately leave thinking the same thing. Other more effective methods of sending a message to the studio might include:
Writing a letter to the studio
Writing a letter to the director
Sending E-mails to the studio
Sending E-mails to the director
Meeting someone who actually has something to do with the movie in person and telling your concerns to them.
Letter-writing campaigns
Adds in newspapers
Billboards
Marching on Paramount studios in protest.
Marching on Paramount studios in arms, holding it hostage.
Or if you think telling your concerns to Brent Spiner, a man who no longer works for the studio and has nothing to do with the current film is effective enough, might I suggest you save the trip to the convention and follow Rorsach's advice; tell your garbage man how you feel.

Cymro I like your British humor. Someone is always trying to make something out of nothing.
Benny Hill was the best.

Holding ankles was not much of a joke. Maybe adding Benny Hill to this mix might of helped.

blah blah.. I am well aware of this.... Do you think you are saying anything new? It is just going to be a fan comment to a Trek actor. Some fans will say something...and some fans won't.

Who is Dawson?
What makes you think Brent Spiner cares what you think about the next Star Trek film?
