I went and saw the DaVinci Code and the new trailer for the upcoming Bond film was shown.

After hearing about the story, the change in Bond and now seeing the new trailer. I am now more disinterested in seeing this new movie more than ever. As a life long Bond fan I am not happy.

I remember hearing people complain that the last few Bond movies were "action flicks". Well the trailer gave the impression that this is going to be the case. There was this mention about "changing Bond" for some dumb reason. The last couple of movies were the most sucessful. So this "updating" nonsense is just that...nonsense.

The Bond Franchise has been dead since MOONRAKER. Over. Finished. Deceased almost thirty years. Even NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN was not up to par. Please accept it and move on.

Never Say Never Again was garbage!

But For Your Eyes Only is one of the best of the bonds, and it came out right after Moonraker. Plus you got Octopussy, The Living Daylights and Goldeneye after Moonraker.

The only thing I didn't like in the Casino Royale trailer I saw was Bond's reaction at the Poker table. He reminded me of Viggo Mortensen's awful appearance in GI Jane.
